Made for the night shift
Monitor Glucose was built by the parent of a child with diabetes, around the moments you check half-awake. Whether you watch your own readings or a child's, it's made for you.
-
A night view you can read without glasses
The reading, its arrow and how old it is, large and dimmed. You choose what it shows and where.
-
Zones that follow your day
Set your own red, yellow and green ranges for each part of the day: tighter after dinner, wider overnight, or however your care team suggests.
-
Alarms that wake you gently
Soft music instead of sirens, with volume that stays steady, rises or falls, and snooze buttons you set to the minutes you actually use.
-
Says why when something is late
If readings or loops stop arriving, the top line tells you the likely cause, such as no internet or the CGM connection being down, instead of just going quiet.
-
Loop, Trio and AndroidAPS aware
See insulin and carbs on board, the current basal, the last loop and its prediction line next to your readings.
-
Reports to share
Time in range, daily patterns and totals, saved as a PDF on your phone to bring to your next appointment.
One app on every screen
Monitor Glucose is one ecosystem, designed to look, feel and work the same on every device. The same screens, the same readings, the same alarms and the same settings, whether you follow on a computer, a tablet, an iPhone or an Android phone. Learn it once and you know it everywhere.

What you need
Monitor Glucose shows data. It doesn't read a sensor itself.
- A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) whose readings already reach a Nightscout site, or another Nightscout-compatible server.
- That site's address and an access token with read permission. An API secret also works if you want to log treatments.
- An iPhone, an Android phone or tablet (Android 7 or newer), or any web browser.

Monitor Glucose Plus
Plus is the same app with Loop remote commands: carbs, boluses and overrides sent to the Loop phone you follow. Like Loop itself, you build it yourself from GitHub with your own Apple or Google developer account. Build instructions will be published here. See all our products, including the web app and the Monitor Glucose Server.
Monitor Glucose is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Readings can be late or missing when a sensor, phone, internet connection or server has a problem. Always confirm with your meter or CGM before making a treatment decision, and talk to your healthcare team about your targets.
